By God’s good grace, I am a child of God, a disciple of Jesus Christ, a husband to a gorgeous wife and my best friend, and a father to three beautiful, little girls. I have devoted my life to God and his kingdom in all that I do.
When I’m not programming or designing databases for my full time job, I’m engaged in Bible study and theological reflection. Currently, I am preaching at the church of Christ at Broadmoor in Nashville, TN, a work I have enjoyed since January 2002. I have worked with congregations preaching the gospel in Tennessee, Kentucky and Maryland.
In December 2012, I graduated with an M.Div. degree from Hazelip School of Theology at Lipscomb University. The degree did not allow much specialization, but it piqued my interest in several areas I would like to pursue further, including biblical languages, biblical hermeneutics, Christian Ethics, Old Testament narrative and legal material, and church history, particularly history of the Restoration Movement and Churches of Christ.
Before finding my way to Lipscomb, I received an A.A. degree from Florida College in Temple Terrace, FL. From there, I went to Western Kentucky University and received my B.A. degree, majoring in Mathematics and Religious Studies, with a minor in Business. Since February 2011, I have been a member of the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL).
In my downtime, I also enjoy reading, swimming, running, cycling, chess and Kentucky basketball.
