Evangelism Handout

Here is a short summary of the Bible and its main thrust with a focus on the response of an individual to the gospel. I created this as something to hand to people along with a Bible in evangelism efforts. It is a brass tacks presentation of the gospel.

There is a God!

Psalm 47:7-8   7 For God is the King of all the earth; make songs of praise with knowledge.  8 God is the ruler over the nations; God is on the high seat of his holy rule.

God Created You For A Purpose – Live at Peace with God and Man.

Genesis 1:26-27  26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, like us…  27 And God made man in his image, in the image of God he made him: male and female
he made them.

Sin Separates You From God.

Isaiah 59:2  2 But your sins have come between you and your God, and by your evil doings his face has been veiled from you, so that he will give you no answer.

God Sent His Son To Restore Your Relationship with God.

John 3:16  16 For God had such love for the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to destruction but have eternal life.

2 Corinthians 5:18  18 But all things are of God, who has made us at peace with himself through Christ, and has given to us the work of making peace.

The Proper Response to the Good News is Faith in God.

Galatians 3:26-27  26 Because you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For all those of you who were given baptism into Christ did put on Christ.
